KIRO-TV's 500-watt Channel 28 repeater on Burlington Hill (Mt. Vernon) is no more. A message from the CE says that relay was decommissioned a few months ago and will not return. I can confirm no signal. I suspect high tower rents at that key cellular site (near I-5) were behind the decision.

Any other KIRO repeaters now gone too thanks to budget cuts?
