King 9704 using a wally??

Moving from direct to Dish and have a king 9704 dome on the RV. It does have the 8PSK board. Will a Wally work, or do need go with a v211z / k?

I'm not familiar with that dish, but if a vip211 will work, then a Wally will work.

The dome will have to be reconfigured to work with dish if it was setup for directv. It requires some kind of diagnostic key pad that usually does not come with the dome.

Not according to the user manual. One would think so though.

Reset is not a big deal even without a handheld unit. Just go through the sequence of the number of button pushes. Anyone using a 9704 with dish out there? I have a donated v211z, if nothing else I will activate the z when I switch the brick & stick location. If it works I may ask ya about the the benefits of a Wally.
