kick me hard, switched to directv and HATE it

Ohh and now...shes 100 percent behind me and dish. Loves the 922 reciver...has told her friends....rain fade doesnt happen...and u dont loose signal like comcast lets on. Her friends are confused...due to being long time comcast subs...20 plus years..cable subs...and are simply afraid whom to belive. I think the majority of cable subs are in this boat.

While my feelings about DirecTV are not as strong as yours, I do think Dish software and hardware is superior. I will be switching back to Dish when the time comes.

the 622/722 series of recievers does have much better respons then anything directv has.
there are many reasons people switch, some money some programming, some personal ect

after switching to directv I did find there was a learning curve to the equipment
but now that i am used to it, i find many of the functions better then what dish had
the search and program info is way ahead of anything i had on dish

each service is diff, and what fits one person may not fit another, you have to choose what works for you
