A new 3 kW translator station came on the air today from Mt. Chual, southwest of San Jose, California. It's K02QX, transmitting on channel 2, with a virtual channel of 45. It has 8 sub-channels of religious and family programming. I can receive it here in San Francisco, about 55 miles away.

It has the same programming as K03HY, channel 3, San Francisco and KTVJ-LP, channel 4 - virtual 12, San Rafael, CA.
