Can anyone look at 123W and 125W?
I seem to have TP 12180 V 30000 on both with the same everything.
Just , wondering if it's just me.

I've peaked up on 123w using 12104 V 3361 (UWTV,TVW) and blind scanned in The PBS mux from 125W, with Q only about 3-5 points lower. This was about an hour ago. Now it's about 30 points lower. Barely above threshold. Must be frost on the LNB/dish doing weird things. I've never noticed anything like this before.

That's what I thought I did also, but I confirmed I was peaked on 123 using the above referenced tp and the VA tp. Then could go back and watch the PBS tp on 123, Q slowly dropping. A bit over an hour and a half from just a few points below the Q PBS gets on 125. to nothing. Wind wasn't an issue, just a frosty dew/fog in the air at the time. I guess it did some weirdness I can't explain. Well, that's what I experienced on this evening of blind scanning. Don't remember it ever happening before. We get that frosty dew/fog regularly this time of year. I also checked the alignment this am on 123, right on. :confused

That used to happen all the time on my 30" Ku dish. It was by no means 2 degree compliant. Now with a 1.0M dish for Ku, I never have that issue. Maybe "Zombiesat" is out there acting up.
:)

Well, it's a 30 inch CM. I just never had that happen before. Must have had something to do with the size of the water droplets in the air at that time. If I bumped the dish west, closer to 125, the Q actually decreased, until i bumped it west a couple more clicks. Oh well. It was interesting to watch the Q slowly fall over time. (~90 minutes) My intentions of installing a 1.2M on a polar mount have been interrupted by the season. DARK TO EARLY! Zombiesat (G 15) is coming up on AMC 1, 103W according to Lyngsat..

Is the UWT signal on 123W still peaked at the same spot or do you have to now go east to peak it? i am thinking maybe there was a signal on 121W at 12104V that was forcing you to peak UWTV further west that it normally is peaked? I hope you get my point?.

I understand what you're saying but Nope. I double checked on 2 tp's on 123 and they are at the same position today as yesterday.( 12104 V and 11732 H ) Yesterday I peaked those two and I blind scanned 123 and found PBS on the same TP. 12180. as on 125. ( I always check known TP's for the aim, before blind scanning. first post only referenced 12104???) I thought maybe I was between sats, But moving the dish a count or few east or west( to a point) decreased Q on 12180 and the other TP's on 123. As long as I had 12104 V and 11732 H peaked, the PBS TP was also strongest. Just a few points less than when I pointed an 125. After Making sure I wasn't a bit west, but actually on 123, I posted. Then I didn't move anything. But I noticed the Q slowly decreasing on 12180 at 123. Took about an hour and a half to fade completely, The other TP's did not decrease, nor did they increase. And I've checked a couple of times today, still have 12104 V and 11732 H peaked, but don't see any PBS TP's either. Weird, but we did have fog last night, But noticed that it was gone when 12180 disappeared from my 123w.
Will have to check again when we have fog.
