I still stand by my comment. It took vurb three minutes to cast a pall on Moses' excitement over his new HD setup. I saw it as a snide attempt to discredit Moses' post. End of story.

I have the same Pioneer Plasma - it is incredible not matter what the picture source. It must have one of the best scalers on the market in it.

HDMI cable with install??

I have a friend that went to Best Buy bought a hdtv and signed up with Direct. He bought a hdmi cable with the set up. I thought that when Direct came out for the install they supplied the hdmi cable for his hddvr. Can anyone advise???

I believe that you are correct, but Best Buy probably tried to convince him (and succeeded) how much better the Monster hdmi cable was.

Yeah they are BAD about that, truth is any HDMI cable will do the job just as well and as of now D* is putting them in the box
