Just hooked up in bedroom. Thing is crazy fast. During setup of options and fav's, I find myself overshooting because Im used to the delay. Good freakin job Directv!!

If there's only the typical number of tuners in it and improved speed is the ONLY advantage over what I currently have, I can wait.
Now I know it handles DECA, which would require more changes to my set up.
If it offered 4-6 tuners and an OTA card along with the speed, then I would go for it.

I COULD order one and retire my H20 in the bedroom.
Question for those that are using them so far.
Are they quieter than the rest of the HR series, The HR20 in the bedroom tends to make noise enough to possibly wake you up.
To be honest, I've not noticed any sound at all. Guess that means it's pretty quiet.
It wont be in the living room until late this weekend prob, so I wont know about how/if the am21 slows it down. Its as fast as you could like just moving around in the menus.
