Mines probably high because it's in an cabinet although I have decent ventilation in there, also have it sitting a shelf above my Yamaha recvr which tends to warm it up in there.
Edit:
Just checked the cabinet and it's really not that warm in there and the Yamaha is OFF so it's not contributing.
Are there vents on the bottom side of the HR24's ?
