Just got Dtv installed, but received DSR708??

Just got Dtv/DVR installed, but received Philips DSR708??

I thought I would get an R10, but instead got a Philips DSR708 R/17... Should I call and request I get sent an R10??? I haven't activated yet, because I wasn't sure if there was a major difference in the hardware that would be a factor in the future.

D* isn't able to guarantee make or model on IRD's they send. Maybe try calling the installer directly?

I just got the 708 also - requested R10 in the work order but the installer did'nt have any nor in their warehouse some 60 miles away.. Seems ok so far except the menus are sloooow.
