Just because its cool.... the history of the first digital camera

The first digital camera I used was a Kodak DC40 and the file format was .dcf ( or something like that) that required a special program to read the images off of the camera. The resolution was a little greater than VGA, all for around $800. We used it a work to take pictures for our in-house TV channel.

So it took 20 years for Kodak to get it to market. Look what they started.

Great minds must think alike.:rolleyes::) Either that or you just don't bother to read my threads anymore.:( Well!!!!:p:D (lol) 08-19-10 Every time I look at that prototype digital camera it amazes me how much technology has improved.....
