NPD June hardware sales. US only. Walmart and a couple of other retailers do not report to NPD.

DS 593k
PS2 312k
360 277k
PSP 221k
GBA 189K
GCN 51k
XBX 24k

Life to date numbers:

DS - 5.2 million
PSP - 4.7 million
Xbox 360 - 2.0 million

Pretty good 360 numbers, considering they are the most expensive. These numbers should be converted into $, then you will see the real winner. :)

DS = $130 -> $ 77090k
PS2 = $129 -> $ 40248k
360 = $300 -> $ 83100k (worst case)
$400 -> $110800k (best case)
PSP = $250 -> $ 55250k
etc...

So, you would get 360 then DS then PSP then PS2.

M$ really needs to get on the ball if they want to hit their end of the year numbers of 5-10 million consoles sold.

remember guys its summer time, I have a friend in the game business (he owns a video game shop) he said at his store, sales DROP in teh summer time (vacations, trips, weathers nice, etc. etc.) but when august/sept hits they start to really go up (schools back in, rewards for grades, kids want to spend summer money, and lets not forget christmas shopping!)
