Join the Sling TV Cloud DVR Beta

I think it is the app and how it works with windows 10. Amazon and Netflix are their own apps, and they work perfectly on my Xbox S, where the Sling TV app cuts out, hangs, gives me the spinning orange arrow, a LOT.

Sling may get much better after a visit to my internet provider's office. My "old" modem was slow and now the new one has changed the speed test from 21Mbps to 66Mbps.

My Xbox S and Roku Ultra are both on my 5ghz radio which tests about 140 down, so I just think the Xbox app is still screwed up.

Must be at that speed!! I only get about 30 down and have no trouble. But I use Roku. Different platform

yeah, my Roku app works fine, the Xbox app has bugs, or termites, or whatever... I have the Ultra in the HT and just got a Premier + for the bedroom to replace my old Roku.

So how about that DVR Beta Dish? Talk about being a tease...

This is very interesting.
I have gotten use to the Vue dvr and like it a lot.
I have a feeling Directv Now will launch without dvr service.
Only downside for me with Sling is the pq isn't quite as good as Vue.
