So for the first week everything went fine, no issues at all, the install seemed to go fine and tech did a decent job.
Then last friday evening, 6-29-12 the floodgates opened. We have a 2 hopper 4 joey setup, the hoppers seem to work fine, record ok, watch live tv ok, but the joey's..... oh the joey's have gone wild.
Lets start with one, it constantly goes down showing the 1303 error, sometimes it finds a hopper (not always the same one) and re-links up all by itself, other times I go in and manually reset the broadband/network, it may refresh the settings and connect other times nodda, if it connects and I then look at Whole Home page, it may see a single hopper, both, non at all, or just the other joey's. If the signal comes back and shows tv, it may last for 2 minutes, 45, an hour but it will eventually deceide it wants to send up another 1303 message, Looking for Hopper - "A3014........" or it shows the name assigned, or it has the 2nd hopper name, wait and it sometimes connects, or doesn't starting the loop all over again, reseting network.
I've tried the suggested unplug power, unplug cable, reset power/shutdown, startup, reconnect shutdown a few times, and well nothing.
A tech came out last tuesday and moved one of the hoppers to a different room, reconnected some ends on calbes but never once asked to look at one of the joey's. He was sceduled for a 12-3 arrival time, called and said he would be late, uhm a little closer to 430... ook, I shuldn't have left work at lunchtime then, but thats not the issue.
He left and not more than 10 minutes later the same joey went and threw up the 1303 page, called T/Support and was given a date on the 11th they would come back... Really yhe 11th, a full 8 days later when the tech just left 20 minutes ago?
Well today I get home and that same joey is now not able to even see a sat signal, local channels show not allowed to display this channel in your area, I was able to get CH 321 for about 20 seconds and then poof, lost sat. signal transponder # was changing then 2nd screen please select guide and or a previous channel.....
Needles to say.... it's getting very old dealing with this.....
So thats my Rant/Review and my 2 thumbs down so far on service (by 2nd tech and support - 1st tech did a good job)
