Newbe here. My wife had Joey added to her Dish TV system a few weeks ago. It's located in my den along with my laptop, router, and wireless printer. I had occasion to print something today for they first time since Joey and find that I can only "print to file" as a .prn file. Perhaps it has nothing to do with Joey but is it possible since they are both wireless?

No a Wireless Joey or Wireless Access Point shouldn't interfere with your wireless printer. I have my WAP on a shelf right above my wireless printer with no issues. The Dish WAP uses 5Ghz wifi frequency. The WiFi SSID is also hidden, so no other device will connect to it.

I am assuming you are using Win10. In the search box type in "Printers & Scanners." Select your printer and press the Manage button. Then click on "Run the troubleshooter." Fixes mine when Win10 loses my printer.
