On my HWS autotune would turn on the Hopper and switch the channel. On the Hopper 3, all it does is remind you that a show is going to start. Not very useful when I want the Hopper 3 to start while I'm still in bed. In another thread a user said his Hopper 3 worked like I want it to. He wouldn't elaborate when I asked him.
I use the autotune on a show that comes on at 6:00 every morning, that way it's on when my alarm goes off. I leave my TV and Hopper on all night while I sleep so I'm not 100% sure if it turns on or not (I have the auto off set at 8 hours), but it seems like it's always on when I wake up every morning.
