Joe Torre to try to buy Dodgers

Joe Torre has quit his job with Major League Baseball to pursue ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the league announced on Wednesday.
Torre was named executive vice president for baseball operations in February and took the lead for on-field discipline and umpiring, among other duties.

Although I think he was an overrated manager whom had no clue about managing a pitching staff, which is why Kershaw didn't develop into an ace until after Torre left, I think he will make a good owner.

The Dodgers didn't deserve what happened to them last season. ANY new owner can only be better than what they had last season.
