I think he will want to see what the Cubs have to offer because he is very fond of Lou Pinella, his 1st manager. The OTHER heavy rumor I am hearing is that the NY Mets want Johan Santana...but Minnesota wants Jose Reyes in return. IF the Mets pull the trade, do not be surprised that they have a deal in the works for A-Rod already. Because let's face it, he LOVES the spot light of NY and HATES the spotlight of NY.....LOL. AND, that team is alot closer to making the World Series than most teams.....other than the Red Sox, even WITH their total collapse not to make the playoffs. AND they ARE one of the handful of teams that can actually afford him.

I hadn't heard the Santana rumors.
That sounds reasonable, I would like to see A-Rod in NY with the Mets, seeing he won't be going to the Tigers !

One of them goes to the outfield (3B) A-Rod would play 3rd.

I have heard the senario of the 3b going to the outfield previously.
