JN1 on 97W converting....
Sorry folks. I'm far behind in the new 97W update, but it's end of semester time here and I'm applying for full-time work, and lots of other stuff going on. Hopefully sometime this weekend, I'll have it up and running.
I wanted to let you know about JN1's plans on 97W. I just saw this today, and it could be interesting to see what happens. Right now, the left hand corner of the screen is watermarked "Archive." I expect to see the rebranding to Ukranian News One to be complete in a matter of days. As you can see in the link provided, JN1 staff were suddenly fired. I'll miss the network. It´s bad we´re losing another english language channel on 97w, I just checked their website and they no longer have streaming video

I will not miss the shofar blowing between each story. Personally, I found it irrating enough to avoid viewing the channel.

Same here, that´s one of the first things I mentioned in my feedback, the other thing I don´t like (or didn´t like) about the format is that they didn´t have anchor people live, and the same recorded reports were played over and over even for 2 or 3 days.
Just watched it´s UN1 at the moment. Somebody else posted the below link explaining the change.

agreed. I could watch JN1 every now and then on Jewish Life TV (JLTV) on Directv and it would get annoying...quick
