Remember me? I asked about the legality of FTA. My main goal right now is Japanese channels. Where do I go to pick up the most channels? I have a good size list of clients I'd like to install a system for strictly legitimately!! No hacking here, I'm too busy to keep up with all that.

sorry

Here's a list that shows programming by language.
Not much for Filipino, Korean, nor Vietnamese, either.
I have friends who'd kill for a good assortment of any of those.

Tons of Chinese programming, though.
You may have to work a different neighborhood. :)

edit:
wow , I just checked GlobeCast, a lesser-known pay TV service.
They don't even have any Japanese, either. How sad. :(

Dish seems to carry only one Japanese channel in their International suite.

I was surprised that I couldn't find a single channel from Japan on Ku.

There is however a couple on C-band , TV -Japan and NHK .

As for the little variety available in Filipino ,Korean , and Vietnamese.
I'm sure somebody would be happy to have 1 or 2 channels if that was the only option and in that case an affordable stationary dish with a basic receiver would be suffice.

There are probably many more immigrant groups who are not being served by FTA , it's a shame because the possibilities are endless.
