My ITVN receiver was working fine up until about a week ago (I've had it for over a year). Now, after successfully connecting to the internet, it tells me access is denied because I need to update the software. However, when I try to update the software, it tells me my software is the current version. I've tried powering down the receiver through the remote and the power cord.

I'm getting no response from several emails to their support address.

Anyone else having this problem?

Well, looks like there is a reason for it (from Itvn - BigSoccer)...

I can't even get on the thing anymore. Says I need an update, and nothing happens when I do try. It's a continuous loop of nothing happening.

Very frustrating.

WSD says they went belly up.

I cancelled my subscription the week of that Liverpool/Manchester United debacle and apparently I wasn't alone.

Well anyway, I waited a long time before deciding to send back my box. Last Tuesday I went up to the UPS store and mailed it to ITVN.

Today I come home and I'm like, what the heck, can these idiots not even process a return? Well, I look at the box closer and see the reason for the return was: "customer out of business."

Doesn't look good! I'll have to try mine when I get home, worked a couple days ago. Hope that fyretv gets going soon! (not that I have porn issues or anything like that :) )

This one is pretty good (from Chelsea In America • View topic - ITVN OUT OF BUSINESS?)...

Yeah I got this update when I tried to launch... So on the launch menu I went to the update option... When I tried to update it said that I had the current version... I was in a endless loop.. When I called tech support no one answered the phone, I must of called 20 times letting it ring still no answer... Went onto there help forum and read that someone had been calling since Dec. 29, and still had received help.. Went online and found the company that supplies the domain name, and got the persons info who it was registered to. Called his cell... this is great.. hes was so surprised and really got offended by the inquiry but i was pissed i was missing the game... He told me that they were out of business... Also emailed them and they canceled my contracted no questions asked. So who knows whats going on...

Still working here. Silver30, that happened to me once and I had to pull the power and leave it out for several minutes (30ish). Try that and let us know.

Interesting yours still works. I've pulled the plug several time, but probably no more than 10 minutes at a time. I'll try leaving it unplugged longer tonight when I get home. However, last night I started looking at my credit card statements. Looking at previous statements, ITVN has always charged me on the 12th of each month. I haven't been charged this month... yet. So, based on this and the posters from other forums (various recent dates), is it possible that customers are gradually being dropped?

I suppose its possible. Scott, myself and others got a 1 year subscription a while back so maybe those are still active but the monthly ones are getting dropped. Try leaving it out for a while though.

I have no clue if my ITVN unit is still working, it's been almost five months since I turned the thing on, i've just been obligating my $9.95/month for 12 months agreement on my end, plus about two weeks after I got my ITVN unit Deep South Wrestling went belly up and there was just no real reason to even try to watch MavTV anymore...

I did try out Starz for two free months and I must say it was decent quality. The sound was a little low but overall I had a good experience with it.

Overall hardware/user interface i'd give ITVN a 7/10
Channel Selection 5/10
Customer Service 3/10

I left it unplugged for 90 minutes. Same problem when it was plugged back in. I think the unexplained no charge to my card this month is a definite sign. But, thanks for everyone's responses.
