Certainly good news so far, especially on the launch but also with regard to use of the full 32 transponders by Dish.
It was previously reported that after extensive analysis the Briz M issue that led to the loss of AMC 14 was identified and appropriate modifications made to the Briz M upper stage. If the re-design was done properly, the balance of this flight should be as smooth as butter and the outcome made known shortly after midnight EST.
As the lift-off personnel kept saying: go Nimiq 5; go Proton; go Briz M!
I would sit silently with crossed fingers and wait for last acknowledge of separation AC from Briz-M, rather then shouting "GO". What is good on stadium, is not for delicate matters like sat launch.
