And as much as I dislike the IRL product, maybe they can make some progress now merged. That butt-ugly assed car HAS to go. !protest

I was a CART hater from day 1. If Tony Hulaman had died at the time he did, there never would have been a CART. I can't agree with everything "Little Tony" did, but I amglad CART or what ever they wnt to be called is a thing of the past.

IRL has had the best "racing" in the last 10 years. 1000 times better that the bump 'em out of the way demoletion derby circuit.

Plus, I'd rather watch road racing.

I received this e mail from a friend and he is absolutely right.

I wouldn't use the word disagree, it sounds so harsh. I love all forms of racing. IndyCars have always and will be at the top of my list. Up until 1997 or 98 NASCAR was a close 2nd, but has slipped to the bottom behind sports cars, midgets, sprints and F1, in that order. I don't care for the Indy Cars on road courses, that's for sports cars and F1. When I am in the mood for road racing those are what I want to see. I love the Daytona 24, LeMans and Sebring. From the begining IndyCars were made to go fast and turn left. Flat out all the time, that's what I like. The only form of racing I really don't care for is drag racing. It's not from a lack of trying, I have gone to and watched it on TV many times. There is something about it that I can not grab on to. Sure, we have had this discussion before, but I still love ya.
