I got tired of toting our 60GB model between floors on an almost daily basis, so I decided to pickup a 20GB model since it would mostly be used to play BD and it sits next to the router. However, I game up looking after more than a month and picked up another 60GB from Best Buy two weeks ago.
Well, I was at a local military PX looking for Mother's Day pendant and free "Cherish Bear" my wife wanted. I don't shop much at the exchange since advent of Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Newegg, etc. but I noticed there were three 20GB models mixed in with a stack of 60GBs. I was going to get one until I noticed an open box 60GB sitting on top of the stack at 25% clearance. I inspected the unit with the sales manager and everything was in tact with the exception of the manual and coupons. The manager offered me an addition 5% reduction so I walked off with a new 60GB model for $419.99 (no sales tax), which is a $210 saving over the Best Buy model that included tax.
The Best Buy model goes back tonight, wife got her Mother's Day gift, and I have $10 left over for lunch.
Anyway, if you have military exchange privileges, live in the Northern VA area, and are looking for a 20GB model...they still had three in stock at the Fort Belvoir PX as of Wednesday afternoon.
