Issues with Bill Changes

We cut down our Dish Programming to the basics for a few reasons. Main being a disabled post 9/11 combat vet, second we mostly use our firestick and vpn to stream tv/movies through catmouse as we have 100mps available to us. I only kept dish for an outage on flex pack and so wifey can watch her shows at night on her ipad. Anyhow we went from a under $60 bill to an almost $110. I have not noticed it and gone in the rears as emails only show current bills and not past for amounts due and had set up on autopay due to my TBI. Forgetting things and such anyhow included screenshots and looking for ways yo get credits back and bill down to what it was. If not we will have to shut down the service as it is wasteful to our budget. Thanks for the help!

You mention your wife watching on an iPad, so do you need 3 Joeys? That would save you $21/month right there. Depending on which shows your wife watches you could drop locals or the heartland or outdoor pack to save even more, or only add them on the days that they are being watched.

It appears on the first bill, you had a $40 credit per month that was good for 12 months. That expired. Without that credit, your monthly bill is $100/month.
It also looks like you had some other massive credit, which is why the first bill was $-123. You finally used all of that up.

I agree dare2be. Do you need four receivers if there's only two of you in the house?
Another possible savings is the $12 for locals. Are you close enough that you can put up an antenna and get your locals?

If you take those two steps, you can save $33/month.

The bill you have is for feb 2019 and August 2019 . What are the charges for April 2020 . Also as posted before call Dish speak very nicely to the csr tell them you noticed that the 40 dollar discount has expired and that you would like another 1 year contract. If you want to stay another year they will add it .
