Just wondering. I'm sure we can all admit we're obsessed (some with Cleveland, some with everything! ;) :D), so I wonder how that fits into the rest of your life?

My boyfriend, who I'm pretty serious with now, thought he was a sports fan before he met me...oh puleeze. My mom still says when I came out of the womb I immediately said 'How did the Rangers do?' ;)

He came into this relationship a Yankee/Giant/Knick fan, but switched from the Rangers to the Devils long ago because the Devils were near his house, and his dad's company had season tickets. Yankees/Giants is actually a very common combination in the city, I'm the exception who roots for the Yankees and the Jets. Most Jet fans are also Met fans.

Thanks to me, he switched back! He used to kid me when we were watching the Rangers and they were losing, but he realized how mad I was getting, and what a bad mood the loss put me in...let alone somebody saying something about the loss on top of it. When he saw what I would be like the rest of the night, he came back over to the 'good side'. At least he makes believe he roots for the Rangers now, anyway, to keep the peace. ;)

However, he's not quite as interested in watching non-NY teams play, except for the NFL and the playoffs of the other sports. And he calls himself a sports fan. :D

I would say I've persuaded him to pay much more attention to that 10:30 PM Kings/Canucks game, and he's also gotten me away from watching quite as much sports as I used to. There are other things to do...IF you know what I mean! :D

One good thing is he brought his 55 inch Sony to my house, and make no mistake...SIZE MATTERS!!! Even when she says it doesn't. ;)

My 42 inch Samsung has been moved to the spare room...we have no TV in the bedroom!

Way to go. You just stabbed a knife through Sabres heart! :D:D:D

My wife will plan her night to make sure she can watch the Cavs game start to finish. She'll watch the Indians, Browns, & Buckeyes if she has nothing better to do (unless it's a playoff game). As far as watching sports when one of her teams isn't playing - - -- I think she'd rather stare at a wall. :)

I married a sports fan - it's such a blessing, as she "understands" when I go 100% nucking futs at the TV during March :)

She's Sawx/Pats

I'm UConn/Mets/Devils, no real NFL team (although I think this might be the year for me to finally bite the bullet and root for the Jets)

Damn Sandra, that was WTMI there....LOL!

All kidding aside, my wife is still a huge Bulls, Bears and Cubs fan. This weekend I was a tad unbearable because of how well the Marlins did....against the Cubs! She was NOT happy and I was close to sleeping on the couch! LOL!

But, she knows that on Saturday afternoons during football season it's The U and on Sunday's, it the Raiders.

my wife is as huge of an NFL fan as i am. she also likes basketball and golf as i do.she understands the games perfectly too!

Yes my wife is a big sports fan, including all things Cleveland. Do you honestly think I'd have it any other way!? ;) Seriously, one of our first conversations when we met had me asking her if she was a Browns fan. If she was a Steelers fan, I would've dumped her right there on the spot! If she wasn't interested in the Browns, it would've been tough going forward. Turns out she answered correctly. ;) :)

The wife and I go to Cavs, Browns, Indians and Buckeyes games together. When we're not at the games, she watches most of them with me at home. Whenever we go to friends houses, she'd rather be in the basement watching the games with the guys while the girls are up stairs, attending to the children or talking "girl-talk". And I love that about her! She even ripped Larry Dolan in her recent Facebook Status update! The fact she cares so much is great!

The wife and I also golf together, so we'll go to live PGA tournaments or watch them on TV from time to time. Also, she used to play Basketball in school and is a HUGE College fan. Just this past year, she took off work the entire opening week of March Madness so she wouldn't miss a beat! Talk about dedication!

In summary, she's the perfect Sport's Fanatic Companion. I am a passionate person if you haven't noticed already and having someone to share that with, I feel very lucky.

That's what intermissions and halftimes are for. :D

Fortunatly I like the Yankees, Giants, Rangers and I won't admit it but the Knicks also.

We have our trash talking during football season but I always have 3 superbowls to fall back on in case the Eagles get the best of the Giants.;)

Wife is a Patriots fan just because... wait for it... they are the Patriots. Not a bandwagon thing, but because of the definition of Patriots. She can only name a couple players on the team, and enjoys watching me play Madden and NCAA and is getting to the stage where when she watches a live game she starting to get a feel for what the penalties are (holding, false start) and whatnot. The video games help her get some of the offensive concepts like man to man vs zone coverages, and what a screen pass is.

I'm not one to tease about the Patriots thing though, I started liking the Chiefs because I was a graphic designer at the time and liked their colors. On my 10th birthday in 1989 the 49ers and the Bengals played... i wanted the 'cats' to win... they didn't, and so I had no interest in football until after high school.

Neither of us are really into any other sports. Baseball is not much more than punchline to a joke that's not funny and basketball is only seen on our Samsung late in the playoffs.

I am a HUGE sports fan, as is Todd. I grew up in a house with 3 brothers, so when I was younger it was either be miserable or like sports. I chose the latter, and actually ended up becoming an obsessive sports fan! My mom has actually told people numerous times that I should have been a boy because I am a bigger sports fan than any of my brothers. I would rather watch a ballgame than a chick flick any day of the week.

Todd and I are die hard Alabama Crimson Tide fans. We plan our fall schedule around theirs. Todd has actually turned down being in a friend's wedding due to it being the same day as the Iron Bowl! I am also a die hard Red Sox fan. Todd isn't really into MLB, but he cheers for them just because he knows it is in his best interest:devil::D.
