Is Voom Echostar's Play Toy ?

I have seen a lot of articles that E* partly funded V* start up in hopes to woo the FCC into the E* & D* merger. Also have seen that Cablevision has been having financial trouble's.

Where are they going with this ? will it become a viable service or just get gobbled up by E* or D* ? or is it all charlie and chucks master plan to make sure they cash in when the DBS HD wars are settled.

By far if this is the case they will have D* hands down. What a great plan, wish I would have thought of it.

I love the conspiracy story! Anything can happen for sure and we will see how everything unfolds in a year or so.

E* was very supportive of V* (cablevision) when E* was trying to convince the FCC to let D* get merged into E*. The FCC did not buy the bullet and so today we are left this picture - E*, D*, & V*.

All competing for consumers $$$.
