I am getting E* installed tomorrow and I spoke on the phone today to the installer. I will be getting the Dish 1000 installed. He said I only need two available RG6 cables running from the dish to the inside of my house. Is this true?

A Dish 1000 looks at three satellites so the minimum cables coming in would be three. For your 3 622s you could have three lines from the dish going to a DPP44 and then 1 line to each of your 622s or the DPP44 could be outside at the dish and 1 line run to each of your 622s either way it is 3 lines. From your other posts you only ordered 2 622s from DISH you purchased the third from EBAY so DISH maybe planning on installing a DPP Twin on the 1000 and running 2 lines into the 2 622s that you contracted with them for.

Could this be true?
