Yes, it's probably a neighbor with their UHF remote using the same address. It's just the one TV because only the one TV tuner uses the UHF remote.Today while I was watching the Cubs game on wgn 239 on my #2 tv it changed to a different channel three times. No one in the house was changing channels on the # 1 set. Could this be a neighbors remote doing this, and why just one tv is affected?
Can something be done to correct this?--Thanks
Here are instructions from the DISH web site:
These steps should be used to change the remote control's address in the event of a conflict between two like satellite receivers. These programming steps are for remote controls that have four mode buttons at the top of the remote.
Programming Steps
Step 1 of 2
Access the System Information screen.
Access to the System Information screen without the remote varies amongst the different models. The three methods are outlined below:
1. If available, press the SYSTEM INFORMATION button on the front panel of the satellite receiver.
2. If the SYSTEM INFORMATION button is not present, remove the SmartCard located behind the door of the front panel.
3. If there is no SmartCard or SYSTEM INFORMATION button, power the receiver off from the front panel and then press the up or down arrow button.
Make note of the number in the remote address field.
Step 2 of 2
Hold down the SAT button until all mode buttons light up. Enter a number between 1 and 15 other than the number noted in the above step. Press the pound (#) button. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record.
Exit the System Information screen with the remote control to test functionality.
