Is this a good deal for Dish Network TV?

Thinking bout switching from direct tv to dish network. The sound of this one offer I might sign up for sounds tempting. You get a free DVR and a free 4 room system. The best by far from the 20 different offers I've checked into. Has anyone else signed up for a similiar offer? Hows the DVR? Is it a decent brand? Does it record ok?
