OK I bought this universal KU LNBF BEFORE I started reading this group. I can't seem to make it work and was wondering if there is a signal meter that will work with it. I have a 95 one but that does not work.

Thanks

Professional satellite meters (like mine) have a 22khz tone switch function but they are very expensive, would be cheaper just buying a spare KU standard LNBF to use for setups (IMO).

I did find a SF-9522 for $20 or so. It does not generate the tone BUT has an indicator on it so I assume it will let the signal pass though it?

A yahoo search will show the starkelectronic site.

I'm with PSB on this one. $20 standard Ku LNBF + $10 simple signal meter = cheap sat-finding satisfaction.
