Last night I blind scanned SES 1 and to my surprise I got RFD, NY State Leg. KTLN and PBS X along with Trinity and TLC. Are the networks from AMC 1 switching to SES 1 or is my dish seeing AMC 1 from SES 1 position?

Sounds like the dish is off by a smidge and is getting both. I know on 101W the only TP is Golden Eagles Broadcasting.

Right now I'm at 99W fixed and I use to get GEB (from 101) on a scan. The other day I moved the dish east to maximize a couple stations and on a scan I got BYU TV next door at 97W. The 6 footer sometimes has issues rejecting adjacent satellites.

6 foot dishes have a beamwidth of 3 degrees. They see around 3 degrees of sky so you will always see some of the neighboring satellites. The minimum dish size for 2 degree beamwidth is 8' dish.
sounds normal for a 6' on c band frequencies.

You may be able to tweak the f/d a little so (pulling the lnbf back toward the scalar a bit) to blind the neighboring signals a bit. this however may drop your desired signals too.
