Is Joey2 able to recognize EHD attached to Hopper3?

Before I switched to Hopper3, I moved some shows from hopper2 to Seagate brand EHD (with its own power cord). My daily tv uses a Joey2.
If I connect this ehd to one of the Hopper3's usb port is it only available to tv connected to Hopper3? I am hoping that limitation does not exist.
Can I have the ability to use my daily tv with joey2, select this ehd and watch whatever I want?

You can view recordings from the EHD hooked to your hopper on all the joeys.

Yes you can watch it from any connected Joey's. When you go to dvr there will be a folder that says sources or something. I can't remember exactly as I don't see it often enough, but you'll know what I mean once you do it.
