Is It True The Dish 211K Can't Record Shows From Dish Online.com?

Is it true the Dish 211k receiver will always be offline for the Dish Online.com website to set up recordings of a program to your external DVR? Dish's technical dept says the Dish 211k with an External Hard Drive will always show offline and is not able to be set to record shows off of the Dish Online Website.

I ask because my 722 is able to record shows which are chosen on the Dish Online site.

Yes, it's true, an EHD turns the 211 into a dvr. It will not work with dishonline.

By going online you are able to set your DVR, an actual DVR, not the makeshift one the 211 becomes.
