Is Dish 1000 more likely to have rain fade?

than my current Dish 500 system. In the spring I am considering having the dish 1000 installed and am wondering how I would be affected. Would the picture be the same or worse? What about signal strength?

The signal strength should stay about the same. The 119 sat may be a little bit better because its located in the main focal point of the dish

I'm really not sure about the rainfade issue. Haven't experienced any less or any more rain fade since upgrade. But I do know typical signal strength is just a tad weaker. Probably due to the juggling act of balancing all 3 birds on one reflector
