is a HR20-100s compatible with SWM/Whole Home dvr?

If it's not, then watching my HR20 from my HR23 must be a figment of my imagination.:)
(Using it in unsupported LAN mode, sans SWM.)

Yes they are but you need to wire them a little different. The HR20-100 can not power the DECA module on the SWiM tuner port. You need to split the cable running to the HR20 and plug the Deca module into tuner 2 and use band stop filter and run a line to tuner 1.

I was lucky and had the setup prior to the techs understanding this and they swapped my HR20 with an HR24 at no costs.

So basically, the way I have my r16 plugged into the swm?

And this will still work for deca?

If only one line is being run in the room, how would I still do this?

Could I use any type of 2 way splitter for that?

Would that lower the quality of the signal received?

... So is the hr20 compatible or not? I already have mrv, I found a good deal on an hr20 and wanted to know if it could work.

Yes it is as you were told more than one time here. I will try to find the diagram that shows you how you have to hookup the HR20-100.
