Is a 510 DVR required to be hooked up to a phone?

I have a 510 DVR in the bedroom and have it currently hooked up to a phone line. I had Suddenlink (hate these guys) put in a bundle for basic cable to get locals and internet and phone for single price. Anyway they told me not to use the ATT lines until they can disconnect them. So the question is do I really need a phone line to the 510? The Primary receiver is a 211 with a EHD and it is not hooked to a phone. So am I going to pick up an extra charge if I disconnect the 510?

There are NO phone line requirements with any receivers with Dish.
