I wanted to give it one more try, but after 10 minutes the show didn´t grab my attention, and I looked for something else.

I was "watching" the show last night. About 30 minutes into the show I realized it was interrumping my train of thought while surfing on the net. This means, I was completely uninterested in the show. So deleted the show, deleted the timer.

'Ironside' Canceled: NBC Pulls Plug On Blair Underwood Series

"Ironside" has been canceled. NBC has pulled the Blair Underwood series from its schedule.

According to NBC, "Ironside" will be replaced by new episodes of "Dateline" and holiday-themed specials of "Saturday Night Live" in November and December on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble holiday specials will also fill the slot on December 11 and December 18, respectively."

This was far from my favorite show, but the replacements don't sound like an improvement.

What's next for NBC? Eddie Murphy starring in a remake of Columbo? As I predicted, this series had Cancel written all over it...just thought it would have lasted 13-episodes and not 5.

I never liked the old Ironside series and the new version sounded dumb to me and I never watched it. I think Hollywood needs to come up with NEW concepts of shows and stop all the retro retreads and for GOD's sake stop all the duplicate spin off shows like Once Upon a time in Wonderland, CSI New york ,Miami, MAYBERRY , NCIS L.A. and now New Orleans,etc. Come on there has got to be someone with an original idea in that town that can come up with something the people could watch.

This Ironside is another retro remake failure, another recent one was ABC´s Charliés Angels 2011, which was also canceled after 4 episodes.
