IR Repeater not working intermittently with 722k

Hello,
I have a 722k and use a Harmony 650 universal remote to control all of my equipment. I have tried 2 IR Repeater systems: the Sanus ELM-501 and the SmartHome Hidden IR Repeater. In both cases, the 722k only responds intemittently to the remote control (using either the Dish Remote #1 with IR or the Harmony). I have the IR emitter stationed on the center of the 722k sensor. Getting it just perfectly centered helps. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if (or why not) an IR repeater is compatible with the 722k? Note that neither the Dish nor the Harmony remote work correctly with the repeater, but both work perfectly with the 722k directly.
Thanks, Eric

I use a cheap set of radio shack pyramids that are IR repeaters. My 722 is not in the same room as my HDTV. Works fine here.

Same here with my 722. I'm using "X-10 Powermids" purchased from ebay. Work great. Same thing as your Radio Shack ones but probably cheaper???

Erik,

Does your IR repeater work with IR addresses other than 1?

I'd suggest changing your 722k to address 1 and see if that does the trick. You will also, of course, need to get your Harmony working on IR address 1. (I use a Harmony 890 PRO and setting the IR address is part of the setup. You may need to either call harmony or deleter your dish receiver from the remote and then re-add it back in.)
