iPhone 4 WIFI symbol

I have noticed my WIFI symbol changes to a percentage number when I go into an app that needs internet. Anyone else seeing this?

Not seeing it on mine either. Thought it could have been something new with 4.0 and similar to battery % but not showing on mine.
