With the D* international 95 satellite, which multiswitch do I need? A friend told me this, is it correct?

Your coice of 4x4 or 4x8 switch will work to get the 95 satellite. A switch with a flexport is not required to connect this dish, it gets pluged into the 22k 18v side of any 4 input switch.

Can I do this or do I require a Zinwell 6802? This is just to get the international 95 working. Thanks!

So currently I have a 4x4, do I just plug the 95 sat into the 22k 18v side of any 4 input switch?

You should use either a 4X4 or a 6X8 only. Don't use a 4X8 while it will work it's not a good idea. You connect the 95 Lnb to the 18V 22khz port.

I have an uncle right now running on an old 4*4 switch, from an old para-todos dish, who receives the internationals. Works great with the receivers that already have the firmware built in to identify the satellite, those with the Direct Tv identifier (ie: H10.) The Zin SAT-6802 is still in the UPS distribution center, possibly being placed into the truck now to make it to my place. Once that arrives...I'll be able to hook him up with the internationals AND HD.

I am still having a problem. This is the setup:

Setup 1:
3 LNB HD dish
Internation 95 dish
Zinwell 6802
I plug in my SAT-HD300 and I see all four satellite dishes, it shows up as:
A B C NET1
101 119 110 95
Everything works great.

Setup #2: (this is the one I want to get working)
3 LNB HD dish
Internation 95 dish (not aimed correctly)
Zinwell 6802
I plug in my SAT-HD300 and I see ONLY three satellite dishes, it shows up as:
A B C
101 119 110
I don't get the Net1 showing the 95 bird.

I think this has to do with aiming the 95. But shouldn't the LNB on the 95 show up in my setup? How do I aim this 95 when the receiver doesn't recoginize it is connected? Please help.

Sorry you have to line up the 95dish with a meter or using 101Lnb attached to the dish.

Okay, I'll try the 101 LNB first. Otherwise, which meter do you suggest for the 95?
