Hi,
I am new to this forum.
I have a Coolsat 4000 Pro, Fortec 36 inch dish, Fortec Universal LNB, Stab HH90 motor. I have a intermittent problem. Sometimes when scanning from say from any satellite 79, 93, 97, 123, my picture will appear for a few seconds then go to a black screen that says "No or Bad Signal." Then after about 20 to 45 seconds my picture will then appear and i will have a good signal and picture, until I scan to another satellite. I noticed when the problem happens the motor moves the dish to my selected satellite then the motor is moving the dish back to 79 which is my true south satellite, and then back to the selected satellite and then the signal and picture comes in. Then the problem will intermittently repeat its self again at another time.
My pole is plumb and I just adjusted my dish the other day to a little better of a "quality" signal. My motor is adjusted properly and I have double checked my longitude and latitude settings. I have also reset my receiver and motor to it's default settings and scanned and deleted and created a new channel list. I have checked all of my RG6 cable connections. The problem still persists.
Could my receiver or motor be defective? Has anybody else had this type of problem?
Thank you
