Intermittent CCK-W operation

I purchased a direct TV cinema connection kit. When I followed the instructions to set it up, all seemed well. Then I noticed that activity light on cck-w device started flashing on and off. This not the same type of flashing as when data may being received, which is rapid This flashing follows a regular interval.
In addition, pushing the DASH key on the Directv remote, the internet CONNECTED appears, and then 5 or 10 seconds later, if you repeat pushing the DASH not connected, with the TV screen display of CHECK CONNECTION.
I have a multiroom setup, installed by Directv, using a HR23/700 receiver HD DVR and a Deca box to supply whole home viewing. All lights on the DECA box are green, and all lights where green on the CCK device, after setup.
If I try to do download of a On Demand program the download will start and then stall after a few minutes. Sometimes over the course of several hours, the program will appear in LIST ready to watch, other times the download never completes. If I try to watch a You Tube video, the same thing happens. Customer support was worthless in trying to help me solve the problem. My wireless network is working fine with all my other wireless devices, just not with CCK-W DTV connection box. A speedcheck of my ISP indicates 12 mbs wireless download. I have my internet thru Cableone with 50 mbps wired connection speed.
