Joeys have no ability to do anything with Bluetooth without a Bluetooth adapter.

I am assuming here, but wouldn’t all new equipment have Bluetooth capability in order to use the DishTV Remote phone apps? (I have had Dish equipment since 2000, but only wireless since 2019, which is when this behavior began)

On the other hand, we can only replicate this behavior with 2010 or later Subarus. It doesn’t happen with the Audi or other newer vehicles that have the same capabilities. I’ve always thought it was something particular that the Subaru transmits and it may or may not be Bluetooth.

Whatever it is, it just interrupts the signal long enough for it to be killed and then quickly resets within two minutes if you don’t touch anything.
