So many NE haters around here....its sad.
Give it or take it everyone that is in the Raiders this year still not able to pull out a decent season, with or without Moss. Sorry to break it to you, but to be realistic it would take them another 1-2 years to get where they were few years ago.
People say its because he doesn't want to play well...thats not true, when you have a great QB everything goes well, when you have a crappy QB everything sucks.

For Example:
Colts/P Manning
GB/Brett Favre
Patriots/Tom Brady
Cowboys/ Romo
Steelers/Ben Roethlisberger
All the teams that are up top have all good QB's and the ones that are at the buttom, well you know the answer.
Now I would take my comment back just for the Vikings, their running game is amazing with Adrian Peterson, other than that there is no other team right now that is able to run/td constantly like the vikings.

I'm not a NE hater ....
I just don't like players that only try when they are on good teams, thats all.
Randy Moss COULD have been great in Oak. had he wanted to, he could have worked WITH the QB and possibly MADE the QB better and then that QB couild have maybe come into his own, istead of doing his best and tring to help turn the team around, he sulked and cried till he got lucky, he made himself look soooooo bad that NO ONE would look at him, until a good team said, well lets give him a chance.
Had he given a damn, he would have went elsewhere because teams would have been interested in him. as I recall GB wanted him, they would look even better IF Randy was there.
btw, I've watched Randy all the way back in college, he was a malcontent then as well, could not stay on the FSU team and finally bounced around till he landed at Marshall.

Case in point,
Tom Brady was nothing more than an average QB coming out of college, 6th round pick, no one expected him to be a star. What happen, they put him in with better players and he blossomed into a very good QB. That would not have happened had he not been on a team with good players.

Hmmm...and what about Carson Palmer, Drew Brees and Donavan McNabb..those are very good QBs and their teams leave alot to be desired...in fact, all their teams are UNDER .500. So your argue is misleading. YES, to be successful you DO need a good QB and YES my Raiders teams WERE AWFUL....BUT a player that turns it on ONLY when he is on a good team, REGARDLESS of how good he is...is a selfish pr**k. And if you are too blind in your 11-0 euphoria to see that...then you really don't know football. When it comes to STATS and ABILITY, I will defend the lowest of the lows....BUT when it comes to character and sportmanship...there I draw the line.

Salsa, speaking of character ... what about your Shaq (my former Shaq .. lol) and his recent lack of interest in his own physical fitness and the game in general? It reportedly got so bad that Dywane Wade had to call him out on it. (Sorry .. couldn't resist)

When it comes to STATS and ABILITY, I will defend the lowest of the lows....BUT when it comes to character and sportmanship...there I draw the line.

It has been character...it has been his fitness. But his play, after he was called out, has improved drastically.....it has not shown up in wins because the team is not very good.
