Well it ended up 11-6. I don't know if "fell apart" is a strong enough term for what happened when Bard and Saito took the mound. It's more like "went to complete crap". :rant:

Well it's on to the Marlins now. I expect to see another strong performance from Wakefield Tuesday.

I think your mistaken. "Fell apart" is what happened to the Mets in the Bronx today. I mean I dont know what to say. Plus what happened on Friday night, what a disgrace. Let me tell you, the Red Sox losing today is a blip on the radar screen compared to what happened to the Mets. Horribly, horribly wrong. Ugh.

I know it sucks buddy, but the Mets have been hit H-A-R-D by the injury bug.

I don't know of ANY team that could overcome the volume of injuries the Mets have sustained.

Heck of a game going on in Cleveland. Indians have blown a 5 run lead to let the Brewers ahead 14-12 in the top of the eighth (half an inning now in excess of half an hour). Fielder had his first career grandslam.

After every half inning they are scaring away seagulls with fireworks. Seems to be working.
