Hi guys,

I was looking at data on lyngsat for Intelsat 905 and recently some new channels added to its list. I checked and it is above horizon for my location (elevation 11.5) so theoretically possible for me to see the satellite. Then I checked beam coverage and it has good KU band coverage on my location.

My question is because this satellite's coverage map has Spot1 and Spot2 for KU band. could it be possible the globecast channles listed in lyngsat are only available for Spot1 (Europe) and not for spot2? I donno if anyone of you who has motorized dish on east coast can check if these are really available here.

Thanks

Intelsat 905 at 24.5°W

edit:
oops...
Since there are no FTA channels on the Ku side, beamed to North America, there isn't really much to discuss.

Thanks for writing, looking restrospectively my question sounds stupid but I had no idea about "beams" and regional distribution of programs. Anyways I searched last night ... so no KU programs on North American side.
