Intel Set to Phase Out i7 940 & 965 Chips

Wow that was Quick! Here is a link.... Intel discontinuing core i7 940 - The Inquirer May want to hold off a new purchase until June or July as these may get cheaper.........?

I saw this about 3 months ago and got tired of waiting.

Oh well I thought I had something new to share. Funny I was about to buy a Dell with the 965 and was told a few months ago by a friend to wait. He said that after they were out a little longer the price should go down. He didn't say they were going to be phased out though. For the money that new 950 seems promising. Definitely cheaper than the 965 or that new 975. Still suffering from Celronidus........
