Where does the instrumental jazz music that Dish plays on blank channels that have messages come from? Is it a regular audio channel available all the time? Does it stay the same on these channels? I started listening to the music when it started coming through on the Dish Headlines channel. If this is not a music channel regularly available and not subscriber accesable I hope Dish keeps broadcasting it on their blank message channels. I never really paid attention to it before. Don't tell anyone because I don't want the audio to disappear because I like it.

If you like that, then you may want to check out the "What's on Dish?" channels: 9582 or 9599, depending on which Arc you are using. (Channel 9582 is on Eastern Arc at 61.5, and channel 9599 is on Western Arc at 129.) These channels are available full-time, and always play the instrumental music.

Also, be sure to look for channels 927 (City Lights) and 967 (Jazz Traditions) for even more Jazz music. These channels have been in an extended free preview for quite a long time, along with many other audio music channels in this channel range. :)

U927 on H3

What direction should the antenna be pointing for the EA?
