Simon, thanks for the info and please excuse my ignorance...soooo would I go two satellites into each DP21 and the DP21's into the DP34? Or ? BTW I am going to mothball my 7200, so I'll just be using my 921 and 510. Thanks again!

Remove the DPPTwin from the D1000 and use your standard DP Twin instead
Run 3 cable runs from the D1000 to the DP34 (119,110,129)
Run 2 runs from the D300 (148) to the DP21s. Assumming you have a DP Dual.
Two outputs from the DP34 to the DP21s.
Of course that only gives you 4 satellites on 2 receivers only. Since you have 3 receivers you'll need one more DP21. Or forget about the whole thing and get a DPP44.
So it's 3 DP21s (cheaper) or a DPP44 plus the D1000. Right SimpleSimon?
One more thing, this is assumming you have a DP Twin and a DP Single or DP Dual. I see you have a 7200 and that's a legacy receiver.

He's mothballing the 7200. If it were staying in the mix I would recommend the DPP44 to avoid the need for a DP adapter and for the simplicity over the DP34/DP21 cascade. Put 129 on input 4 because the 7200 will only see inputs 1-3 (as an SW64, doesn't do SW21-4Sat) and won't get software to use the 129 slot (which I really don't understand because it's another DBS slot, not FSS).

That's correct the 921 needs two feeds, I missed that. He could still use a third DP21 for the 510, can he not? You are right the DPP44 will be the easier and cleaner way to go.

Thanks gentlemen...I am now only slightly more confused instead of totally confused...one thing I just thought of is that I really wouldn’t need the signal from 129 going to my 510 since it wouldn’t see the HD channels anyway right??? I already get all the programing from 110, 119 and 148 I want on the 510...the only reason I would like to add 129 is to get the Voom channels on the 921.

As for hooking up the DP21s, put a DP34 output into DP21 input #1 and the 129 feed into DP21 input #2. Repeat with the other DP21, and run their outputs to the 921.

Installed Dish 1000 this past weekend.
Thought I would throw in my two cents about my install this weekend. I switched the Twin LNB out for two Dish Pro LNBs since I was going to go through my DP34 switch. Installed the LNB for the 119 sat. then tweaked azimuth and elevation until I had about 107 signal strength. Then installed the 110 and 129 LNBs. Hooked up the DP34 switch. Signal strength on 110 is about 105, 129 is 85. Reading other posts 85 sounds ok. May switch to a DPP44 switch later to add 61.5 for Sky Angel. So many electronic goodies, so little time!
