Installing OTA antenna

I was just reading that PVC conduit that's buried will accumulate a lot of moisture from condensation. Before I bury my 3' of conduit for my RG6 cable, should I drill small holes in the bottom of the conduit ? I hope to do this tomorrow.

Thanks.

You may want to ask this in one of the OTA forums. Just trying to hrlp.

No. Condensation is relatively harmless and your efforts would be better spent sealing the ends with an cable gland (either a real one or one made of sealant).

As long as your coax's are not nicked or damaged, and you don't use a connector inside the pipe, you'll be fine even if it collects moisture. And it will. I've used that method for years with no issues. Do NOT drill drain holes in it, plug the ends as Harsh says.

Add at least one or two extra coax's, in case of future need.
